About: iPads in schools
Ipads are a useful ICT resource in schools as they promote smart learning using online apps and games to entice students into learning while they play. Not only do iPads support students with the technology now a day, teachers in classrooms are using iPads for most lessons and as reading resources to cater
for all different learning types and abilities. IPads, although expensive help students apply themselves in the classroom and help students connect and engage
with this exciting piece of technology, encouraging students to try knew levels of skill. Teachers are encouraged and should trial the iPad in their own
classrooms to see the progress and involvement of their own students.

Learning concepts and working Mathematically
Reading a report on iPads from a Macquarie ICT Innovations Centre Project | Cathie Howe & Dr Nerida McCredie | 2012 there were two main ways
iPads had supported learning in their classroom. The first was students interacting with a specifically selected app to explore and gain confidence in
their understanding of a particular mathematical concept. The second was that students enjoyed spending time working their way through different apps, and the Teaching Team identified that this helped their students to consolidate their understanding of concepts that had been taught to them in earlier lessons.
